  7. You are excellent at pointing out five misconceptions that are pretty useful to me. Nine months with the WA making me very busy in taking up new knowledge every week. I fully support that Affiliate marketing is not outdated.

Our website has been posting Amazon products and links for over six months, with over a hundred unique clicks every month but gets no sale at all. It is right to get users’ trust in need a long time to build up with good content. It is impossible to get rich fast. Every website owner who wants fast money has to give up finally.

Website owners are over concern about the page speed issues. Effortless fall in the trap of going Pro for more functionality support. Or attract by the plugin, which has the miracle to bring up page speed. This two misconception costs some money spend, not wisely. The worse is paid traffic cost website owners spend more money. When your website still lacks content, it is hard to keep traffic to your website.

Affiliate marketing is a serious business that needs time to build up your knowledge platform to attract your website visitors. I agreed it is a serious business with two points here. We have to supply content based on our website promise given to our visitors. We are strictly forbidden to have mixed content. The second point is our presented content must strictly follow Google rules’ needs to entitle of Google search. Strictly focus on getting more keywords recognized by Google to get more traffic. Social media or paid searches can help direct visitors, but it is not helping our website get continuous traffic based on organic search.

It is true everybody can create the website and start selling on the internet. I have no objection to this conception. Like you, I believed you have your experience and background to support you to speed up your success better than others. I do not have knowledge and experience in my niche, but I choose it for development. With the conception of no knowledge or experience required, I start writing content with the simple knowledge I have. I can qualify as a website owner since my ranking can improve after updating my old posting.

I try my best to give my comment here with my experience. If my opinion is not correct, please feel free to correct me.

    • Hi Stephen,

  8. I smiled when I saw the comment that there are people who believe that affiliate marketing is outdated. This is my view will not be for a long time to come. When one looks at what is happening on the internet and in advertisements and digital marketing, it is quite clear that affiliate marketing still has a long life span.

Thank you for being honest about persistence as it relates to affiliate marketing. The truth be told is that affiliate marketing needs a lot of time and dedicated work to succeed. For me, affiliate marketing lets me understand faith. They are so many days I felt like throwing in the towel, but thankfully, I hung on seeing my success, but of course, this was just in my mindset. Yes, it takes hard work and perseverance with a lot of research coupled with trials and errors to see that affiliate marketing can be a good source of passive income.

Thank you for taking the time to share this informative article, especially when others are so deceptive, giving the impression that we can all get rich overnight.

    • Hi Josephine,

That is exactly the point when it comes to whether affiliate marketing is outdated or not.  Many things are happening on the internet. It is not only how the advancement of technology but also how companies spend their marketing budget to reach by using influencer or blogger; as you mentioned in your comment, Affiliate Marketing still has a long life span.

Thank you for stopping by, do not forget to subscribe to our newsletter.

      All the best

      Kalle & Marie

  9. I absolutely agree with you that no technical skills nor experience are required, and one only needs a lot of patience and perseverance. That’s where many fail because it can take a few years to get to the point where you can ditch your 9/5 job and get your full income from a website (or several sites). But it is absolutely worth waiting, learning, and building up to something with such a potential. Time will tell past anyway, but you can have a high-value asset in one or two years.

    • Hi Lenka,

It is always great to read your comment and your insightful information regarding the affiliate marketing business.

Thank you for revisiting our site and taking your time to leave a comment.

      All the best,

      Kalle & Marie

  10. I must admit that I originally thought that you needed knowledge of technical skills and sales experience in order to succeed. And that misconception kept me away from affiliate marketing for 2 years. Now I see hoe wrong I was and have tried to work hard to compensate the time I’ve lost.
